The Tim Lohmeier and Friends of the Drumstick Foundation was created in March 2018.  It’s purpose… to educate the public by making live music and cultural events affordable and available to people of all ages and backgrounds in Lincoln and surrounding areas.  Which is, in a small way, exactly what the Drumstick did. In this age of virtual reality, smart phones, and social media, the Foundation will focus on the old fashioned reality of people coming together to laugh, dance and make friends.  What could be more organic than that! Our first project was to the make the documentary.  The story of those times in Lincoln’s music history will be the Foundation’s cornerstone. Future projects will focus on making live music available, affordable and accessible. Help us enrich the lives of people in our community by making a donation now.
